“Drago” is a 2020 gelding that we have owned since he was a weanling. He has been an absolute pleasure to have around and a huge asset to the business. There won’t be a task on the ranch that he hasn’t done, and he will sure enough be the first pick for any of them. At 16 hands and 1250 lbs., he is at the top of the list to go brand calves on, and with his size and speed he’s an easy first choice to go doctoring big cattle on. Don’t let his size fool you, he is an exceptional mover with lots of cow to make that fall sorting a breeze. Drago gets along great with other horses and is consistently turned out with both mares and geldings. Good with his feet, ears and mouth and is a real mooch for a handful of grain. This past summer he was rode extensively in the arena and is a really pretty mover, knows his leads and is a real hard stopper. He was started on both ends and shows great promise as a head horse but is versatile enough to snag a check on either end. We hauled him to jackpots on the head side this winter and were very pleased with how he took everything, would fit a #5 and up. Drago can go as fast as you need him to and then wind right back down to walk down a trail, we love how versatile he is!
