Ohio was named as I was entering the state heading to a cutting at Eaton last year🤠
He Will be 15hh with good bone and great feet and his mane and tail are coming in flaxen( like his dam) and a lot of roaning hairs throughout like his sire.
He has been handled daily since birth and his recipient mare allowed him independence with no smothering.
Ohio is a Quiet & Serious colt who is easy to get along with in the stall too and YES! he is a back wall pooper who doesn’t walk in his stall.
All my foals are taught to go to the back of the stall when feeding. Ohio has been clipped, feet trimmed & dewormed regularly and after weaning they live outside until winter then stalled at night only.
My job as breeder is to give you well mannered colts for you to train up your way (Both testicles descended at 3 months.)
Mama Poof allowed Ohio’s inquisitive nature to flourish creating a very confident, bold young colt who is afraid of nothing. Tractors( ask for this video)4 wheelers, motorcycles - He’s been exposed to them all and stands his ground unafraid- in fact Poof was such a good recip mare that after the lease was up, Equine medical services in Missouri allowed me to purchase her for future legends to be born here.
Ohio loads and unloads like a show horse and was fed in the trailer for months. One day he went missing -only to be napping in the trailer oblivious to my stress!🥴
Breeding future legends for you to show has been my passion for 35 years now - with showing secondary to breeding.
Ohio is near Toronto,Ontario, Canada -(2 hrs from NY & 4 hrs from Michigan) I will deliver him across the border and will have the coggins/ export papers done for you- making the decision to buy Ohio seamless. Delivery includes up to 1,000 miles for a nominal fee.
Ohio was 6 months and 1 day in these professional photos by Speckled J photography
Please keep in mind High Brow Cat is Icsi and Ohio was carried in a recipient mare. This was not an inexpensive colt to produce and he is priced reasonably at $22,000usd
I will only respond to Serious inquiries.
