Stormy is a 5 Year old Grulla kids cowboy horse deluxe! NO BUCK NO REAR NO BITE NO BOLT!! This little gal has been in the feedyard for 100 days and has been ridden for 80 of those days and takes her job seriously. She has the work ethic of a draft horse but the personality of a pony(VERY fun and loves kisses and can be expressive with her head) . Stormy will take care of her rider in all weather conditions. She has been ridden in our 65 MPH wind storms/snow/rain/ and heat working cattle for 10-13 hour days and she never balks or backs down. She loves the challenge of ranch life! After 3 months of working, she is due for a bit of a break but she’s not sure she likes it. She wants to work and be handled. We have been doing baths and stretching since she has been home for the week and she’s getting used to being pampered, but misses cows. When we took her for her examination the vet remarked on how her movements would be GORGEOUS in a dressage ring. Stormy has it all!! Color, shape, personality, and grit! There’s not much this gal won’t do for you! She absolutely loves working cows but would be happy to go in any direction. She has had a rope thrown off of her but has not roped anything in an arena. We believe this gal would make the perfect cowboy kids horse or your next dressage pony with personality! Stormy has no issues with other horses and LOVES our mustang gelding. The farrier in the feedyard where Stormy is being ridden has kept her longer than we like. She was trimmed and has a new set of shoes on 4-13-2022. Vet remarked that she is long and could benefit from a more skilled farrier. Unfortunately we don’t have much wiggle room on who the feedyard uses to shoe/trim due to corporate rules. Stormy will load herself into a trailer and hauls tied and untied. She is UTD on all vaccinations and worming!
