“Senorita” is a Beautiful, Talented Open caliber 6 year old Diamond in the ruff. Truly a rare find. She is bred by Garth and Amanda Gardiner. She is a full sister to “Senor Shiney Cat” who made the Worlds Greatest Horseman finals this year. I purchased her as a two year old from the select two year old sale in Fort Worth . She’s had limited showing by myself ( Limited Non-Pro) .
Her abilities far exceed my experience to show her to her full potential. I don’t have the facilities to get her where she could be. WR’s, take a special kind of person to get along with. She is a lot of horse and needs to be ridden by someone with experience. She excels in the Cutting and Fence Work. A 73-75 down the fence every time, thats with an amateur on her. She could easily go in the cutting direction, she especially loves the herd work. She is quiet and confident in the herd. If ridden by the right open or Non-Pro she would be unbeatable. She is more horse than most riders will ever need but not in a bad way, as long as you possess the experience to be able to ride and show a horse of this caliber . She is very soft and feely, amazingly talented, and has the speed. When you want her to get there, she is there effortlessly. I have never had to lay a spur on her. Your calf will move her wherever you want her. She wants to be right between your leg . Best part, she loves to work cattle so she loves her job. Took her to her first USCHA Show this past October and she won the weekend in her division.
She took 5th in the Amateur and 10th in the intermediate Derby at the world show as a 4 year old in 2021 with a 9 point penalty for excessive herd help which was not her fault, She was a 73.5 down the fence . I have marked a 74.5 down the fence showing under Sam Rose . She has also won several limited age derbies and a North East Regional title in the hackamore. She wasn’t shown much as a 5 year old, I only showed her 3 times during that year. I was burnt out and needed a break and didn’t show any of my horses. She spent a year just being a horse. Her reining needs to be cleaned up a little and some work going through the corner in the fence work. She can easily plus half every maneuver in the reining. She is qualified in the Open 2 Rein for this years upcoming World show. With the right rider you would be unbeatable. She has all the tools. Its going to kill me just a little to let her go but I have a 2,3 and 4 year old that I need to focus on for 2023 and wont have time for her. She is very Sweet and Kind to be around. I have ridden a lot of great horses and most people will never get the opportunity to ride a horse of this caliber in their life time.
She is sound and has never been unsound since the day I purchased her as a two year old. I’ve had her vetted and xrayed by my own vet to make sure I knew what I was selling. Your welcome to any of this information and of course vetting her with your own Vet.
