Randy Chartier has been involved in every facet of the cutting horse industry from the youth, to a non-professional, to being an open trainer.  He has also been an NCHA judge for over 25 years.  Randy has amassed a number of accomplishments in the NCHA and of these he was a Non-Pro World Champion, Open World Champion, Non Pro Futurity Champion, and is part of the NCHA Riders Hall of Fame.  Located in Weatherford, TX, Randy specializes in limited aged event horses and weekend horses.  He also provides lessons and holds clinics.

Randy has also teamed up with fellow trainer Rob Foster to build a business buying, training, and selling buffalo.  Double R Buffalo , as they call themselves, is based out of Randy Chartier Cutting Horses.  The buffalo are trained primarily for cutting horse trainers to work in substitution of cattle.  Randy and Rob welcome potential buyers to call ahead for an appointment to come and see what working buffalo is all about.
