Matt Tune Performance Horses is solely focused on starting and training two year olds on cattle for cutting and cow horse disciplines.  Matt’s priority is to put a solid foundation on his horses that anyone can follow with ease. Whether he’s prepping one for sale or to continue on as a three year old in another program he emphasizes seeing an abundance of cattle and having confident and willing athletes leave his program for success in the show pen.

Matt accredits his knowledge to working for Hall of Fame Trainers Sean Flynn, Gary Gonsalves, John Mitchell, Lee Francois and most influential to his education, Beau Galyean.

Matt is currently accepting outside horses at his wife, Taylor’s longtime home on Tin Top Road in Weatherford, Texas and they are also offering mare care at their home year round!
